The LGA’s beautiful Smith Square office refurbishment involved stripping the building back to the bare bones, and refitting in its entirety.

The Need

Having moved out of their Smith Square offices to enable a total refurbishment, the LGA needed a trusted consultancy partner to help manage the delivery of their future ready multimedia and conferencing systems into their newly appointed premises.

The Answer

From multiple small format conferencing rooms, each with a room booking system panel, through multiple larger divisible presentation spaces, to a large, visually impressive events hall, each space required a specific approach to the technology and its deployment. Add to that spaces for each of the Westminster active UK political parties to base themselves within, along with numerous small office huddle spaces with presentation and conferencing technology, and the LGA have an impressive and expansive set of technology enabled spaces.

The Outcome

The LGA are now able to make use of and hire out a set of deeply impressive bright, engaging and characterful spaces, all sympathetically enabled with technology to support the human elements of each area’s use cases. And from engaging, impactful spaces can come deeper, more passionate and energised engagement in the process of local and national government, pushing and driving the positive work of the LGA.
